About the Project

Sacral Data is a performance and installation project centered on the rapid generation of synthetic media from limited personal data. The work examines the process through which biodata can be extracted, transformed, and treated as technical material.

By placing these processes within a performance and installation context, the project draws attention to the transformation of personal information into something that can be captured, processed, and recombined by computational systems.

Research Context

The project explores questions of data extraction, synthetic media, and the relationship between technical systems and the people represented through them. It forms part of my broader practice-based research into the assumptions embedded in computational representations of human subjects.
